As a homeschooled student in Minnesota, Victoria Kasten started writing poetry at the age of eight. Inspired by a family trip to the Black Hills Wild Horse Sanctuary, she decided to try writing a book. The result, "Mighty Stallion," was written when she was twelve. Victoria envisions the series eventually including ten books.

Victoria has participated in many events and book signings.  She has been the subject of newspaper and magazine articles, as well as having been interviewed by radio stations. Victoria loves horses and has two of her own. Her family also raises Alpacas on their farm, Rose Crest Alpacas.
